Hmm, this is odd. If I go to:
https://www.paypal.com/
I get a warning telling me that the SSL certificate has expired. More specifically, the PayPal certificate itself is valid from 2006 to 2008 (i.e. that's fine), but it's issued by Ebay Verisign and their certificate was only valid from 1997 to 2004.

Is anyone else seeing that problem, or is it just me?

When I look, the certificate seems to be issued by Verisign. But I didn't log in (can't remember details) if that affects anything.

Yes, sorry, you're quite right (post edited). You don't need to log in (and arguably you shouldn't if the certificate is dodgy!), but do you get any warnings about the Verisign certificate (the middle one in the tree)?

I get no warnings, and a "Not After" of 24/10/2011 23:59:59 GMT on the Verisign one.
