Today has been a bit of a mixed success. On the plus side, I passed my exam (842/1000). On the downside, the company is having to cut costs, so they'll be announcing redundancies on Thursday. Although it's been 6 years since I started there, my year out for the MSc means that I'm only on one month's notice (rather than three), and that any redundancy benefit will be that much smaller. Anyway, I'm not too worried, since I'm sure I can find another job easily enough if I need to (potentially a bit closer to where I live too), but it's not an ideal situation to be in.
