Well, the weekend was fairly productive. I finished off the (free) online training course for my exam, and did quite a bit of reading too. And as usual, whenever I have studying to do, I suddenly feel the compulsion to clean up the flat; my hat is off to the visionary genius who invented self-cleaning ovens!

Today has been a bit of a mixed success. On the plus side, I passed my exam (842/1000). On the downside, the company is having to cut costs, so they'll be announcing redundancies on Thursday. Although it's been 6 years since I started there, my year out for the MSc means that I'm only on one month's notice (rather than three), and that any redundancy benefit will be that much smaller. Anyway, I'm not too worried, since I'm sure I can find another job easily enough if I need to (potentially a bit closer to where I live too), but it's not an ideal situation to be in.
