Another fairly long day today. I didn't leave the office until about 23:30 last night, so I then got home at about 01:00. I went to bed at 02:00, then got up at 05:00 for SJA duty (duathlon in Richmond Park). It was surprisingly dark and cold (3°C) at that time of the morning... Anyway, it got brighter/warmer as the day went on, and it was a pretty good day. It's the first time I've been to that park, and I liked seeing the deer roaming around. And now that the nights are starting to draw in, it will soon be time to use my fireplace again, which I'm looking forward to.

Anyway, after not much sleep and a 12 hour shift, I'm feeling somewhat dazed, so I'll try for a relatively early night tonight. One quick question first, for anyone who listens to commercial (i.e. non-BBC) radio stations - have you heard an advert for the Wild Bean cafe (some posh petrol station thing) recently, that refers to the old "Um Bongo" adverts from the 1980s? I'm not entirely sure whether I heard this on the radio (waking me up) or whether I dreamt it. My hazy recollection:

Person 1: "Do you remember the Um Bongo adverts? Um Bongo, Um Bongo, they drink it in the Congo..."
Person 2: "Hey, that would work for the Wild Bean cafe too."
Person 1: "How so?"
Person 2: "Wild Bean-o, Wild Bean-o, I bought a cappucino..."

Ah yes, blogging and corporate sponsorship; a match made in heaven.
