Well, it's been another full couple of days.

I went off to see the new "Wallace & Gromit" film on Wednesday, which was good - quite silly, with many many rabbit puns, but it has a lot of charm. Key tips: there's a "B movie" before the film itself, with the penguins from "Madagascar", so don't plan to arrive late and skip all the trailers etc. Similarly, it's worth sitting through all the credits at the end of the film.

Then yesterday a bunch of us went off on a Circle line pub crawl. I did one of those a couple of years ago (with most of the same people), but this time I wasn't drinking, i.e. I was the sober (nominally sensible) person. The good thing about this was that I got free Coke all day. Also, while I like to have a pint of cider or a glass of wine now and then, I don't really want to drink huge amounts of alcohol in one go anymore. However, I can also see why billyabbott didn't want to do that role twice... Still, we didn't lose anyone, so I'd say that it was a successful outing.

I've taken today off work as well, mainly to catch up on some sleep. I've got a solicitor coming round soon to inspect the flat, so that I can hopefully get the leasehold extended, so I've tried to do a bit of vague tidying up for that, although the place is still a bit of a tip. I'll try to do some more sorting out after he's been and gone.
