hallowed be the unpronounceable names of your products.
Your market monopoly come,
your assembly instructions, accompanied by only mildly helpful diagrams, be done
at home as it is in the warehouse.
Give us this day our flat-packed shelves
and forgive us our hunger for well-made homewares at affordable prices,
as we forgive you for not providing free delivery in the UK.
And lead us not into B&Q,
but deliver us from Argos,
for yours is the sofa, and the desk lamp, and the cheap kitchen utensils
forever and ever,
Amen.
