An interesting blurb on the Lego website about NXT (their next version of Mindstorms):

Basically, they're releasing it properly in the autumn, but they want 100 people to buy a cheap copy soon and spend 5 months playing with it.

oops, twas me, and I meant I applied to get one of the cheap Lego sets. I mean I have to use up my dollars somehow :-)
