Let's get jinky with it!

Well, today's been another pretty good day. I was out of the house by 9am - granted, I should have been arriving at work at that time, but it's good by my standards :) So, I'm dragging my hours round to something vaguely normal now, which is promising. Aside from anything else, I need to get into practice for when I have 9am lectures...

Then got an email from the consultant who's been in charge of deploying my application. The plan was to release a patch for it today, with some new features, but it turned out that they don't need it until tomorrow, so that gives us an extra day, with no extra workload - a nice change of pace from last week :) So, once I'd finished all the necessary changes, I decided to leave early (17:30). I didn't exactly ask permission, I just left when the boss wasn't looking. But they can't really complain, after all the overtime I've put in lately.

Anyway, the main reason for leaving early was to head off to the cinema to watch Scooby Doo. This was an ICSF trip, although not exactly a large group - me, Lorna, Simon, Viv, and Peter (muppet). Anyway, we all enjoyed it, although I think Lorna's right; Michael and Michelle probably would have hated it. It's not that I don't have a sophisticated sense of humour exactly, it's just that I like silly things too (e.g. belching contests).

And now it's half nine, and I still have my evening ahead of me. I could get used to this :)
