Well, today has been quite a busy day. I was working late last night (doing a push to upgrade the last of our Office 97 machines to Office 2000), so I didn't get home until midnight. Due to a lack of organisation (entirely my own fault), I then had to do some emergency laundry so that I'd have a uniform to wear today, so that meant that I didn't get to bed until 2am, and then I was up at 6am for the Biggin Hill duty.

The duty itself went pretty well, and I was able to make myself useful. However, it is a long one, so now that I'm home again I could cheerfully collapse for the rest of the evening. Unfortunately, I had a call from work earlier today saying that the internet connection has stopped working, so I need to go in and fix that. Assuming it's what I think it is, it's going to be one of those annoying problems that takes 2 minutes to fix and requires 2 hours of travelling. Ah well, noblesse oblige and all that, and it does the motorbike good to keep the engine ticking over. I've had about an hour's break to boost my energy levels a bit, but now I'd best be off...
