Just been watching "The Faculty" (SF/horror film). Surprisingly good, actually. It was played straight, which is unusual nowadays, and there were some genuinely unpleasant bits in there, along with a few plot twists that I didn't see coming. I guess the moral of the story is either "Always wear a seatbelt" or "Take drugs, save the world!" I was slightly surprised that it got made, considering that some people would object to it (shooting teachers, glorifying drug taking), but live and learn...
