We've got a couple unopened jars of mincemeat going spare, if you'd like them. They're now over 2 years out of date, but I don't believe mincemeat actually goes off. I mean, it couldn't possibly become any viler than it already is. ;)

Incidentally, I believe this is the canonical way to separate an egg.

That would be great, thanks - assuming that you won't use them, I can try it, and always chuck them out if they taste really bad.
