Following up on my previous post (Digital comics), I'm having another clearout. So, all these comics are free to a good home - let me know if you'd like any/all of them. I'll wait a couple of days, then offer whatever's left on Freecycle. If you'd like more info about any of these, just ask. * means that it's a complete set. If it's in bold, I strongly reccomend it, and I'm only getting rid of it because I've bought the collection as a book.

Edit: I'm crossing out any that have been requested (pending collection).

I also have "Shoggoth's Old Peculiar" - this isn't actually a comic, although it's printed in a similar format. It's an illustrated short story (text by Neil Gaiman), apparently based on HP Lovecraft stuff.

At the moment, these are stored in 3 cardboard boxes: 2 standard (430mm) and 1 long (660mm). I'm giving away the comics, but I'd like to keep the boxes, so that I can use them for my next clearout. So, there are a few options here. If you have your own boxes/bags, we can decant the comics you want; however, be aware that they may wind up getting mangled if you use a normal carrier bag. You could borrow the boxes, if you return them afterwards. Or we could do a swap: I'll give you a full box, and you give me an empty one (same design); you can buy these at most comic shops.

I'd like the Rising Stars lot, The Tale of One Bad Rat and the What Ifs, please. I still have no clue how I don't have a copy of One Bad Rat, I think it's about the only Bryan Talbot thing I don't have yet...

I should probably do a clear out of my comics some time. I may not have a collection as big as yours but I do have short boxes covering a worrying percentage of one of my study walls.

No problem - I'll put them to one side for you. Shall I include "The Last Avengers Story" with the "What If"s? It's from Marvel's shortlived "Alterniverse" imprint.

The self-contained-ness of them combined with being chock-full of references to stuff you've already read makes them deliciously addictive. :/

My love of patting myself on the back while saying "wow, aren't you clever for picking up on that referenced element of Batman's backstory that nobody else who is less awesome than you will get" is well known. And occasionally ridiculed. Justifiably.

Billy beat you to it with "The Last Avengers Story", but you're welcome to the rest. I've now updated the post to cross out the things that have been requested, so anything else is fair game :) I'll see how much space these take up, then work out the best way to get them to you.

I can help out with ferrying things in some fashion - I will be seeing stagknight this weekend in fact, so we may be able to come up with a cunning plan.
