Funnily enough the two "undertaking" accidents I've personally witnessed is where the bike's been overtaken on a barriered corner and the heavier vehicle has just "squeezed" them out. Both cyclists were uninjured, thankfully, but both bikes were trashed.

Yes, technically it's the overtaking vehicle's fault (or, at least, it is in racing terms), but I suppose the cyclist should remember the mantra "if you're a cyclist, every other road user is out to actively kill you" and stay safe.

yeah, buses and cars will also do this. Luckily in oxford, most of the corners aren't barriered so you can bail out onto the pavement.

There's a particularly nasty corner in Hammersmith - as you sweep off Queen Caroline Street and on to King Street. It's barriered and quite often the motorised traffic isn't even paying attention to anyone on their right hand side.
