Well, I haven't actually done a huge amount of project work in the last few days, despite my good intentions. I have been able to catch up on some sleep through (despite my cat's best efforts to stop me!), which is good. I've also done some general sorting out, e.g. I've finally got round to claiming a refund on the excess tax I paid last year.

On the academic front, I've now been officially rejected by Imperial for a PhD, which is a shame. However, I've been chatting to some people since then, and there are some other areas to explore. I think I'll focus on my project for the next few months, then see about getting involved in some open source projects next (academic) year, as an alternative to doing another MSc.

And today I've given my website a bit of an overhaul.
