I've spent most of this week working off-site, which has been a nice change of pace. Basically, our company is now a majority shareholder in a smaller company, so they sent me down to sort out the computer systems. It's been a few long days (10 hour shifts), but not too stressful since it's mostly watching progress bars chug away (e.g. while copying files or formatting disks).

I finished there today at lunchtime, and went back to the PMSI office. I then lost my temper with one of my co-workers, and the boss suggested that I should take the rest of the afternoon off, which I accepted. More details about that in a friends-only post to follow this one. It wasn't really his fault - he was annoying me, but I overreacted because I'm stressed about flat stuff (more about that in another entry).
